We discuss the validity and reliability of tests. As new devices and methods continue to emerge, often there is at least one published, peer-reviewed study validating the device or method. Read the peer-reviewed article located in the link below and examine the validity of device or method used for exercise testing. Also answer the following four questions.

1. What was the device or method being validated? What does this device or method measure and how is it used for exercise testing? (provide some context about the device)

2. What criterion method/device was this device compared against?

3. What did the authors use to determine validity of the device or method?

4. Is the device or method valid? Explain.
