To start and end strong in your interviews, you’ll need to prepare and write an opening and closing. In both cases, you should only write YOUR side of the conversation, leaving room for your interviewee to respond. Do not assume to know what their responses will be.

The opening established rapport 

Student identified the organization they represent and purpose in the opening. 

Student used an effective closing technique.
