Thesis Statement:  
Tony Morrison’s Novel “Sula’ begins by describing the changes occurring at the “bottom” while the rich whites at the “top” start making movement in the area and change everything starting by building a golf course. This explanation adheres that not everything is exactly as it appears to be on the outside , serving as a notable glimpse into many of the characters true personalities and the different ways they cope with those feelings, one is them filling up the void they have with distractions.  Tony Morrison’s Novel Sula  adheres that not everything is exactly as it appears to be on the outside , serving as a notable glimpse into many of the characters true personalities and the different ways they cope with those feelings, one is them filling up the void they have with distractions.
