To Comment:

The criteria for evaluating qualitative material according to Melnyk and Fineout-Overholt (2015) include credibility, dependability, transferability, and conformability. The worksheet developed by Foster and Shurtz (2013) was reviewed separately by two other reviewers and consequently contains credibility. This was used to assess a random selection of 384 EBM POC summaries, giving it dependability and transferability. After reading the article by Foster and Shurtz (2013) seeks to discover a typical evaluating evidence-based medicine (EBM) point-of-care (POC) summary by producing a worksheet to appraise the data. The worksheet covers specificity, authorship, reviewers, methods, grading, clarity, citations, currency, bias, and relevancy. To conclude the CASE is an effective checklist use for critically analyzing a treatment summary (J Med Libr Assoc.( 2013).
