You now know that you will be engaged in a research project for the rest of this course. Your enjoyment and success with this project often depends upon your topic choice; it must lend itself to an argumentative paper. Also, thMW ENG 2 DB 1e more interest you have in your topic, the more you will be driven to learn and write about it. 

Think about some of your favorite subjects. What interests you the most? What ideas about the topic do you already have and why do you think this would be a good fit for the argumentative paper.  

1.)  You may want to mention and then briefly explain three ideas that you have, pointing out the topic idea that is most appealing to you.  What thoughts do you have about the topic right now?   (2)  Why do you feel it will be a good fit for the argumentative paper?
